Slow and Controlled Mocktail
The perfect drink for that refreshed feeling and easy sipping.
Ingredients + Preparation
1. Basil Simple Syrup
- 1 bunch of fresh basil, washed and stemmed
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
In a saucepan combine basil, sugar, and water and simmer until the sugar is dissolved, 5 minutes. Cool, strain the simple syrup, and store in the refrigerator.
2. Final Drink
- 1 1/4oz, soda water
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1/2 oz, simple syrup
- Ice
Turn it up a notch: add 1-2 oz vodka or gin
Shake with ice, pour over ice!

Bring a slice of Megan’s LA garden to your summer drink with this classic summer drink.
Ingredients + Preparation
¾ oz simple syrup
¾ oz lime juice
2-3 sprigs of mint, muddled
1-2 oz white rum
Splash of soda water
Shake with ice, serve over ice, and garnish with fresh mint!

Ingredients + Preparation
- 2 jalapeno coins, muddled
- 1-2 oz blanco tequila
- ½ oz triple sec
- 1 lime, juiced
- ½ oz agave syrup
Shake over ice, serve with ice, and garnish with salt/sugar/tajin rim and a lime wedge!
