How did you find out about TSS and what has kept you moving throughout the years?

Georgette: My favorite pilates teacher recommended Sculpt Society and I love it! Bernie and I meet in kindergarten. She stays active with yoga, pilates, reformer and her hobby - dancing 5 nights a week - ballroom, tango and more. I have A.T. E (addiction to exercise), I walk for an hour at 4am and do many virtual Jazzercise (since 1990), boot camp, Trx, and pilates sculpt daily. Feel blessed I can do this at 70!

How did you first connect with The Sculpt Society (TSS) community, and what motivated you to become a part of it?

I started doing TSS about 6 years ago, before the app even existed! I was taking Megan’s classes in person in NYC and became obsessed with the workout method. It wasn’t until I moved out of New York City to Connecticut that I really got involved with the community. I was living in a new town and didn’t have a lot of friends nearby and wanted to meet some new people. While there I turned to the private Facebook group and connected with a few other local girls. We met to do a workout together followed by appetizers and drinks. It was so nice to know we already had something in common, and quickly formed friendships when learning we shared so many other interests. I am so thankful to have met a group of like-minded women in the TSS community!

Can you share a memorable moment when your TSS community played a significant role in supporting you, either personally or in your fitness journey?

My sister got married in August 2023 and TSS really brought my mom, my sister and I together. We did classes from the Bridal Program with one another which was so much fun and also helped alleviate the stress from wedding planning!

Feel free to share a funny or heartwarming anecdote about a moment you experienced with your TSS friends that perfectly captures the spirit of Galentine's Day

This is a funny story—the apartment building I live in hosted a rooftop bbq 2 years ago and I was hanging out with a friend of mine from the building and her neighbor, Lauren, came over to say hello. I had never met Lauren formally prior to that evening but she recognized me from one of the TSS pop up classes we had both attended before. It turned out that we had both been in the same pop up class and immediately bonded over our love for TSS! While our friendship was rooted in one common interest, we have traveled on vacation together, attended other pop ups together, meet for dinner, brunch or just a glass of wine after a long week very often. In the spirit of Galentine’s Day, it’s so important to recognize and appreciate friends that you love and who are so meaningful in your life!

How did you first connect with the TSS community, and what motivated you to become a part of it?

I took my first TSS class at the recommendation of one of my best friends in April 2020. She promised that I didn't have to be a dancer to enjoy it and that it was the best at-home workout she had found. As soon as I took my first quickie arms class, I was hooked.

Can you share a memorable moment when your TSS community played a significant role in supporting you, either personally or in your fitness journey?

I never considered myself "strong" before starting TSS workouts. Now that I have been doing the workouts consistently for over 3 years, I have been able to complete multiple fitness milestones. No matter what mood I showed up in, I knew a TSS workout would make me feel better.

In what ways have long-term friendships within the TSS community positively impacted your life and personal development?

Two of my closest friends and my mom do The Sculpt Society with me regularly. Doing FaceTime workouts with my mom gives us a scheduled time to connect almost every day which is so special since we don't live close to each other. With my friends, discussing the new workouts and challenges coming on the app when the schedule comes out every Sunday night always starts our group chat on all kinds of topics.

Do you have any tips or advice for others looking to build and maintain strong, supportive friendships within the TSS community or any community in general?

The best way to build strong and supportive friendships is to put that energy out there yourself! By putting myself out there, I've been able to meet amazing friends and support them through their accomplishments.

How did you first connect with The Sculpt Society (TSS) community, and what motivated you to become a part of it?

My daughter introduced me to TSS about a year ago. She was in her first year of working at TSS and kept encouraging me to try it. What motivated me was the welcoming atmosphere and the sense of community I felt right from the start, even though I only took a class or two every week.

In what ways have long-term friendships within the TSS community and outside positively impacted your life and personal development?

The friendships my daughter and I have formed within the TSS community have been a source of inspiration and support for both of us. They've encouraged us to step out of our comfort zones, try new things, and embrace our strengths.

The best way to build strong and supportive friendships is to put that energy out there yourself! By putting myself out there, I've been able to meet amazing friends and support them through their accomplishments.
