How To Elevate Your Self Care Routine

By The Sculpt Society

We’re strong believers in working out for as little as 10-20 minutes for quick and impactful workouts, but that also carries over into how we prioritize self-care daily. Simplifying your self-care routine elevates your practice by focusing on un-complication. It’s about honing in on daily practices, with impact intention, that help you feel your best.

1. Outdoor Walk

According to a 2014 study, exercising outdoors leads to greater long-term happiness and can instantly boost your mood. Not only will you feel more awake, energized, and serene, but being surrounded by nature also brings a natural serotonin boost! Breathing in fresh air, feeling the ground under your feet, and taking in all the colors and sounds of nature are positive stimulants hitting your brain at the same time. You can’t help but feel like your best self and at peace with the world around you.

Feel The Sculpt Society’s positive energy by listening to a TSS Meditation or one of our new Wellness Chats while you walk!

2. Create a Bodycare Routine

What better way to thank your body for carrying you through the day than by indulging in a rejuvenating skin care ritual? Often, we skip over the importance of body care in favor of face care, but it’s something you shouldn’t miss. We love the ease of use, accessibility, and effectiveness of Saltair products as well as the story of the brand itself. Their pillars of inclusivity, effectiveness, sustainability, and transparency are extremely admirable and we love supporting brands like theirs. In collaboration with Saltair, Megan picked out a few of her favorite products and we can attest to the amazing quality. Start off with the Glycolic KP Body SmootherBody Wash in Island Orchid scent, followed by the Luxe Body Lotion in our favorite Pink Beach Scent. Top it all off with their game-changing Skincare Deodorant that holds up after even the most advanced + sweaty TSS workouts!

3. Moving Your Body

Movement is a very important part of life and it’s been proven that we feel our best during the day when we engage in any kind of movement. We like to switch it up daily, taking time some mornings to do a 10-minute quickie and other mornings a 30-minute full body. If you have a hard time finding the motivation to move, read about our top motivation tips here. We truly stand by the mantra of committing to less to show up more, so even if it's just a quickie workout, you're setting the stage for consistent movement.

We've listed a few "hacks" below that we aim to incorporate into our morning routine when time allows. It’s rare that each step is covered perfectly on any given day, but we do always feel great when we are able to sneak one or two in.

4. Manifest With A Moodboard

Here at TSS we’re all about manifesting our dreams. Whether that be by endless pinning onPinterest, scrolling through TikTok and saving videos for outfit inspo, or cutting out images from magazines to remind us of things we simply love to look at. What better way to put this to use than by creating your very own mood board? You can make your mood board about anything from home decor, to food, to fitness inspo—whatever your heart desires. If you want to make one on a poster board, print out any images or phrases that mean something to you and glue them on in a cute collage. If you want to make a digital mood board, try using Canva to make a collage of all your inspo images.

5. Fuel Yourself with Cookie Dough Bites

We love the TSS-favorite cookie dough bites for that burst of tasty energy! Nutritious, delicious, and perfect for any season, this no-bake recipe comes together in only 5 minutes. Be sure to pair the bites with your favorite drink for the ultimate snack (or even dessert)!

5. Make a Sweet Treat

We love these cute truffle brownie energy bites as the perfect post-TSS-workout snack! These energy bites are plant based, gluten free, and hit the spot. For a Valentine's Day twist, roll them in freeze-dried strawberries pulsed in a blender to make a red dust!

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup oats

8 pitted dates

3/4 cup pecans

1/4 cup hazelnuts

2 tbsp maple syrup

2 tbsp melted coconut oil

2 tbsp cocoa powder

2 tbsp water

2 tbsp nut butter

Blend, then roll in cocoa powder & store in the fridge!
