Meet Bree! TSS Trainer 101

Introducing the latest member of The Sculpt Society squad: our new trainer, Bree! Bree’s dance career began on tour nationally and internationally with several musicals, such as West Side Story, Monty Python’s Spamalot, and Memphis the Musical. Bree was also fortunate to perform as a Radio City Rockette and even back up to artists like Usher and Ne-Yo. Bree made her Broadway debut in Big Fish, the summer after getting certified to teach yoga, and began training to teach indoor cycling after the show opened. When Big Fish closed, Bree began teaching nearly full time, expanding her expertise to personal training and group fitness classes. It was then that she became a strength trainer!

Bree then graduated from Harvard University cum laude in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in government. Bree went on to graduate from UNC School of Law in 2024 with honors and is now a full-time attorney, practicing employment law. Bree lives in NC with her (soon to be 3!) beautiful children and very supportive husband, CJ.

When did you start teaching fitness?

2013.

What can TSS Fam members expect from your classes?

A quick and efficient way to move your body, feel strong, smile, and get back to your day! 

Who is your dream guest DJ or singer in your class and why?

Beyonce, hands down. Her talent and strength are unshakeable, and she has remained an inspiration to so many of us for decades.

If you could host a TSS IRL class anywhere in the world where would it be and why?

Probably online, to reach as many people as possible! Removing boundaries to access is my love language.

What’s your go-to motivational quote/mantra?

Your best for today is good enough.

What’s your favorite thing about strength training?

Two things: the immediate reward of quite literally feeling the impact of your efforts, and the applicability to activities in your daily life.

Go-to coffee or tea order?

Hazelnut latte, but I’m open to a new drink!

Favorite post workout snack?

I’m a sucker for both avocados and chips.

Favorite sneakers to TSS in?

Can’t go wrong in those chunky funky ASICS.

Instant mood booster?

Bopping to an infectious beat! 

What does a typical day off look like for you?

Chasing after my kids and hoping everyone is fed, including myself.

What advice would you give someone who is brand new to strength training?

It’s nothing to ever be perfect at - your body will signal where it needs grace and where it’s ready to progress – remain willing to listen and respond accordingly.

Any non-negotiables in your morning/evening routines?

If I had those I’d probably require a full-time nanny!

I can't wait to engage with the TSS community and offer the TSS fam a new way to stay feeling good in their bodies!
