The Ultimate Guide to The Sculpt Society Mobile App: Tips and Tricks to Simply Your Workouts

By The Sculpt Society

TSS app alert: Your official cheat sheet to all our mobile features is here! We’ve been listening closely to our members’ feedback and updating the TSS workout app with The Society in mind. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to find the right workouts for your goals and preferences, stay on track, and get the results you’re looking for. Basically, spend less time navigating and more time moving the way you want to—with focused, powerful, feel-good workouts you love. Here’s a closer look at all the TSS app features designed to personalize (and simplify!) your workout routine. Please note that many of these features are not available on tv or desktop devices*

Download workout videos offline

Access your favorite feel-good workouts from anywhere. No WiFi? No worries. Download classes onto your mobile device to stream offline.

The move:

  • Tap on the video you want to download.
  • Tap on the download cloud icon below the video.
  • You’ll see a progress bar appear in place of the cloud icon. Once downloaded, videos will appear in the “Downloads” section of the “My Lists” tab.
  • To save space on your device, you can also adjust the default download quality. To do so, go to the “Profile” tab, tap on “Download Quality,” then set to your preference.
Schedule workout in calendar

When your workout feels more like a night out, well, who’s canceling on that? Plan workouts in advance, so you’ll have something to look forward to and more easily hit your goals. You can view both your upcoming and completed workouts in one place, making it easier than ever to track your progress.

The move:

  • Find the class you want, then tap the “Schedule” thumbnail on the right side of the video. Or, simply tap and hold the class, and select “Schedule.”
  • Your calendar will appear—select the date and time you’d like to schedule your workout. Tap “Save” on the top right to confirm, then tap the X to the top left to exit.
  • Scheduled videos will automatically send you a reminder twice: 12 hours and 1 hour before the scheduled time. If a workout is not completed on the planned day, it will appear as “Missed” in your calendar.
Track your progress

Keep an eye on your goals by viewing your completed workouts, which appear on the calendar page. Please note: This feature only tracks workouts completed on your phone or tablet. If you take a class on your laptop or TV, you’ll need to open the app on your phone and manually mark the class as “Complete” to add to your workout history.

The move:

  • Tap the calendar icon on the bottom navigation bar.
  • Tap the three lines to the top right of the calendar.
  • Or, view the "History" section, which shows all completed workouts in list format.
  • Classes will be marked as complete after 90% of the workout is done. You can also manually mark a class as “Complete” by tapping the icon within the video.
View your stats at a glance

Head to the profile tab on the app and select “My Key Stats” to see the following.

The move:

  • “Completed This Week”—how many videos you’ve finished this week
  • “Average Per Week”—average workouts you’ve completed in the last calendar month
  • “Total Completed”—the amount of workouts you’ve done in total
Master the filter tool

Our top-requested member feature, and the one you’ll probably end up using the most. Quickly and easily filter fitness classes using our filter tool. On the “Search” page, you can filter by trainer, duration, class type, exercise type, body area, equipment, and fitness level—making it easy to discover workouts that match your mood, goals, and preferences.

The move:

  • Click on the search icon and select “Filter” in the top righthand corner.
  • Choose your filter criteria—instructor, duration, level, etc.
  • Society secret: For best results, use only a few filters at a time. Selecting too many filters may not give you the results you’re looking for. Our best recommendation is to select your duration, trainer, equipment, exercise type, and either class type or body area (but not both).
Favorite a workout

Bookmark your go-to workouts—whether you’re planning to try them in the future, or want to take them again and again—by adding them to “My List.”

The move:

  • Tap on the "Add to" button within the video.
  • Select “My List.”
  • To view all saved workouts, tap the “My Lists” tab located on the bottom navigation bar, then tap “My List” again. Boom: Your videos will appear.
Make your own playlists

Add your favorite workouts to personalized playlists for easy viewing.

The move:

  • Select the video you want to add to a custom playlist.
  • Tap on "Add to" underneath the video title.
  • Tap "Create Playlist" to add a new playlist, or select an existing playlist.
  • Tap "Apply" at the top right.
  • Please note: Playlists don’t refer to music in this case; they’re a way to stack your workouts or compile favorites.
  • Society secret: We like to create playlists based on level of difficulty. On days we want to go all out, we go to our “Challenging” playlist. On days we want to take it easy on our bodies, we opt for our “Gentle” playlist.
Spiciness Rating

Quickly and easily rate the difficulty level of each class on the app, so you and other members know what to expect before getting started. The Spiciness Rating collects and calculates the average level of difficulty on a scale of 1-5 hot peppers, so you can quickly assess classes at a glance.

The move:

  • Choose your workout. Before you start, make sure you’re taking the class on your phone or tablet (Spiciness Rating is not available for laptop and TV).
  • Once you've completed the class, a pop-up screen will appear with rating options. Classes must be at least 90% finished before you’re able to rate them.
  • Rate class difficulty on a scale of 1-5.
  • Submit your feedback.
  • You’ll see your rating appear on the video details page, under the class title and next to the pepper emoji.
Oura integration

From feel-good moves to smart recovery, TSS x Oura helps you find the perfect balance and choose smarter workouts, depending on your Readiness Score for the day. It also takes the guesswork out of your fitness routine. All you need to do: Check your stats and press play.
